Most people look at comedy as something that flows out of you, that you can't beat yourself up over, that it isn't work, that it doesn't count. The truth is that comedy is work. It's rough, it's tough, it's competitive, and it's filled with rejection. It's also filled with rejection that happens in front of everyone. If you are going to put yourself out there, you are going to have to deal with bad shows. And yes, you are going to have them.
